Public Accommodation/Unruh Act Defense
The attorneys of North Nash & Abendroth have extensive experience representing business owners faced with claims asserted under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ADA requires businesses to provide reasonable accommodation to individuals with disabilities, which accommodations may include the construction of accessible walkways and ramps, parking lots and ADA-compliant restrooms.
Our attorneys also have extensive experience in dealing with Unruh Act claims. The Unruh Act requires that businesses provide their goods and services without discrimination.
We work closely with our clients to evaluate compliance and to develop and assist in the implementation of preventative measures to avoid, or if a claim has been asserted to resolve, allegations of ADA and Unruh Act compliance violations.
